The SD69 is designed to help children feel confident from their very first ballet class. The soft leather upper gently moulds to growing feet while the supportive full sole encourages strength, balance and good ballet technique as young dancers develop.
Available in Pink, White and Black, the SD69 suits a variety of ballet uniforms. Pink is traditionally the most popular choice for girls, while white is commonly selected for boys. Many dancers also choose ballet shoes that closely match their tights or ballet socks to create a longer, uninterrupted leg line.
The Pink SD69 is available in A (Narrow), B (Medium) and C (Wide) widths, making it easier to find a comfortable fit for different foot shapes. We recommend starting with B (Medium), which comfortably suits most children. White and Black are available in the standard B (Medium) width.

Leather Ballet Shoes Shape to Your Child's Feet
Most children's leather ballet shoes are made with a universal shape rather than separate left and right feet. As your child wears them, the soft leather gradually moulds to each foot, creating a more personalised and comfortable fit.
Once the shoes begin taking shape, simply write L and R inside each shoe so your child continues wearing the same shoe on the same foot. This helps the leather keep its natural shape and stay comfortable for longer.

Ballet shoes fit differently from everyday school shoes. School shoes already include growing room, while ballet shoes are designed to fit much closer to the foot for comfort, control and safe movement.
Always measure your child's feet rather than using their current school shoe size.
